Mood: Tired
Reading: the perks of being a wallflower.
Watching: the simpsons.

just a few things that have been happening to me....

i saw marilyn manson.
i got labeled 'dark' by my new language arts teacher.
i started repairing a broken relationship.
i got a fountain pen.
my bus broke down today.
so i walked home.
i started listening to otep.
i found out i can do a really nice death growl.
someone asked 'why is art class so bad to you'
and i responded 'because you're in it.'
i lost my voice, but recently got it back again.
i wrote an essay about snakebites.
i'm trying to incorporate tarot into my poetry as much as possible.
i'm moving.
i still haven't sewn a thing.

so just so you know i'm alive, and still being very much so dormant in the sewing world.
but i've decided during christmas break i'll make another pair of ruby slippers.
and i'm being boy george for halloweeen, so i'll have something to post.

I've seen your Twiggy style dresses, they are great! Do you think you could give me any pointers or a pattern for one? Also, how hard is it to make one of those dresses?

Thank you.
I used Simplicity Pattern 2967, 1960's Retro, I do believe. And.... hmm.
The only advice I could give would be, take precise measurements, have lots and lots of patience, and don't try to rush the project. Also, iron EVERYTHING, it helps, haha.
It's really not difficult at all, just takes time and patience.
(If you make one, I'd love to see a picture!)

okay thanks, im hoping to make some dresses for the new school year, cuz i wanna be the weird kid who wears the same thing every day....gonna make 5 dresses, on for monday, tuesday, etc.
